Hello, I’m Diana. I’ve lived for 41 years, most of it trying to find happiness while living a gender lie. When I finally confronted that lie I chose to transition from male to female.
I have a loving spouse (whom I call E on the blog) and three wonderful kids (ages 10, 8, and 6). Transition impacts all of us, so I sometimes write about the family too.
September 21, 2010 marked the beginning of my “Real-life experience,” (as they call it in the The World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s Standards of Care). I transitioned on the job with the active support of my employer.
I work as a business analyst, which is a career I love. In my spare time I enjoy writing (obviously), am a voracious reader of history, have a passion for heirloom tomatoes, love the theatre, and dabble with more enthusiasm than skill as a cook.
